Essential Physio Rehabilitation is a modern, multidisciplinary and multicultural clinic specializing in injuries after Motor Vehicle, Slip & Fall and Work related Accidents.
Our mission is to return our patients to pre-injury condition quickly and efficiently through a full range of passive and active rehabilitation programs. We will design a unique program of chiropractic care, physiotherapy, massage therapy, acupuncture and psychological therapy to help you recover. The Initial Assessment will allow us to identify and confirm the cause of your injury.

Involved In A Motor Vehicle Accident?
If you have been involved in a motor vehicle accident your treatments will be covered. The health care practitioner or the insurance adjuster will provide you with the necessary forms that you need to complete and we can submit on your behalf to your auto insurance company. An approved treatment plan will cover a physiotherapy, acupuncture, chiropractic, osteopathic or massage therapy expense incurred after the annual maximum coverage of your extended health benefits has been reached.
Which Extended Plan Do I Have?

Got Injury At Workplace?
The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board pays us directly for work related injuries. The Health Care Practitioner will call to WSIB to confirm a Program of Care and submit a necessary forms.
Do I need a doctor's referral to book an appointment?
No referral is necessary to book with our specialists. While some insurance plans require a doctor’s note for Physiotherapy or Massage reimbursement, we can help you navigate this process. If a referral is required by your provider, we can assist in coordinating the necessary documentation to ensure your treatments are covered.
Do you take an Extended Health Insurance?
Yes we do. We bill directly most of the insurance companies and can submit invoices directly to the insurance company so depends on your insurance plan you do not have to pay for your treatment or pay just a difference of the coverage.
Do you offer same day appointments?
Yes! We know pain can’t wait, so we reserve priority blocks in our schedule daily to accommodate urgent cases at our clinics. While we do accept same day appointments and walk-ins, availability is subject to change based on daily capacity. We highly recommend contacting us to confirm the soonest available opening.
Am I covered by OHIP?
No, we are not OHIP covered clinic, However, if you have an Extended benefits coverage our clinic can submit to insurer directly.
If I don’t have an insurance?
For patients without insurance we offer prepaid packages to make it more affordable. You can always call us for details.
